It all started when the visionary Late Shri Punam Chand Bhutoria left the family cosy Zamindari and money lending business in Rajasthan and came to undivided Bengal during the British Raj and started a Jute Trading business. Given his acumen in the business, he setup is own Jute Mill and competed head on with the much larger Scottish and English managing agencies of that time. With the entry of sons Late Shri Bhanwarlal Bhutoria and late Shri Sumermal Bhutoria the group started a series of cold storage facilities in and around West Bengal.  They furthered the vision of their father and started a facility where they decided to manufacture high quality transformers. Now, four generations later RTS Power stands tall as one of the premier providers of electrical equipment all over the country. Reliable, Trusted and Safe is the mantra of this rising firm from a stellar performer from the Bhutoria house. Slowly, but steadily, RTS rose to be one of premier electrical equipment manufacturers in the country. 

RTS has been in the forefront of providing reliable power-conversion and power quality solutions since inception. It has steadfastly earned its place as the forerunner of the Bhutoria stable. Beginning its journey from its first Transformer unit at Jaipur under the name of Rajasthan Transformers and Switchgears, it is now one of the leading manufacturers of Power, Distribution, Extra High Voltage and Dry-type Transformers in India.

Over time the company has diversified its product mix to include critical products in the T&D ecosystem such as overhead conductors, insulated cables, railway signaling cables, and its latest offering of galvanised steel wires. All its products are known for its adherence to the highest quality standards prevalent in the industry.
